EDTNA/ERCA continues to explore the possibility of closer collaboration with international companies as our key objective is working closely with industry partners and introduce innovative educational and research projects. New projects and collaboration have been recently discussed with Gambro, Fresenius Medical Care and B. Braun. Industry partner´s support, involvement and advice is graciously appreciated and the success of our projects would not be possible without their tremendous assistance as it is an exclusive learning and networking opportunity for our Association.

Currently, the key project for our Association is “Go green in dialysis“. This new joint EDTNA/ERCA and Fresenius Medical Care project was launched at the Hamburg Conference. The project duration has been agreed for 3 years and we have developed the following project objectives: create awareness for environmental aspects in dialysis, change habits for more “environmental friendly” dialysis, measure environmental changes/savings and prepare environmental guidelines for dialysis. All the project details will be published in next Newsletter. Please make sure you will have your own copy.

If you are interested in sponsoring the 39th EDTNA/ERCA International Conference or co-operate on various educational projects please contact Jitka Pancirova, the Executive Director & Immediate Past President at pancirova@volny.cz
