OBJECTIVES OF THE ANAEMIA PROGRAMME
  • To promote a greater understanding of anaemia amongst renal care professionals.
  • To promote the active management of renal anaemia by nurses.
  • To promote a sharing of standards of care within Europe to improve patient care.
  • To collaborate in research and education projects.

Anaemia Consultant

Lesley have been the Senior Anaemia Advanced Nurse Practitioner at the Oxford Kidney Unit since 1995. Lesley is an autonomous practitioner and have an MSc in Anaemia Management and is registered as an Independent Nurse Prescriber in the UK. Lesley have authored papers in peer reviewed journals, written book chapters and edited books on Anaemia. Lesley have presented at many International Conferences including the ASN and ANNA to report results of her own research and as an invited guest speaker.
