This year’s conference is an in person only event.

  • What is the best way to get to the conference venue from the airport?

    By bus:
Take express bus number 3G toward Europos aikste. Exit at Europos Aikste. The hotel will be 50 meters away.

    By taxi:
The hotel is 9 km away from the airport. A taxi ride takes around 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • When will I find out if my abstract was accepted?

We have already sent the notification about acceptance, please check your mailbox. If you haven't received any notification, please contact us at scientificprogramme@edtnaerca.org.

  • What is the best way of getting around Vilnius?

The best way to get around Vilnius is by using public transportation. The city has an extensive network of buses, trolleybuses, and trams that run regularly and cover most areas of the city. You can purchase single tickets or multiple-ride tickets at newsstands, convenience stores, or on board the vehicles themselves. You can check the website stops.lt or vilniustransport.lt for routes and times.

There is an E-Ticket available (Electronic ticket, “Vilniečio kortelė”). Vilniečio kortelė is credited with an appropriate amount of money and/or the selected public transport tickets. With a valid ticket in the card, properly activated on board a public vehicle, if necessary, it is possible to change the public transport for free and for unlimited number of journeys. New Vilniečio kortelė costs €1,5. You can buy a one-, three- or ten-days ticket. You can buy and top – up Vilniečio kortelė in all venues marked by sign Vilniečio kortelė.

You can also use the Trafi app to buy tickets, see the traffic information etc. Another popular option is to use the city's bike-sharing system, Cyclocity Vilnius, which offers a convenient and eco-friendly way to explore the city.

  • What is a poster presentation?

A poster presentation is a visual presentation of research findings or projects displayed on a e-poster board. Poster presentations are commonly used to showcase research and communicate findings to a wider audience. The presenter creates a poster that includes visual aids, such as graphs, images, and text, to summarize their research. Poster presentations are an effective way to share research findings and network with colleagues in the same field.

The E-posters on interactive screens will be on display during the entire Conference on the conference floor and there will also be specific E-poster sessions.

  • What is the conference agenda and what topics will be covered?

You can find the conference agenda in the programme section on our website. The theme of our Conference is “Kidney Care in a challenging world – economic & sustainable implications”. The theme highlights two main topics: economy and sustainability, which are related, sometimes in conflict. But as healthcare professionals we need to consider them as pivotal. However, this year there are no categories of specific topics for abstract submission, therefore it is encouraged to submit abstracts of all kinds of topics related to renal care.

  • What are the accommodation options near the conference venue and how can I book it?

As the conference venue is in the near proximity to the city center, there are many accommodation options in its surroundings. The organizational committee has made a deal with 4 other hotels close to Radisson Blu to offer better prices to conference attendees. To get these prices, attendees must use a specific code when booking the rooms. You can find more information in the Accommodation section of the website.

  • Are there any social events or networking opportunities during the conference?

Apart from break and coffee sessions during the day, there will be a Farewell Party for attendees where there’ll be an opportunity to network and enjoy informal time with colleagues.

  • What is the dress code for the conference?

The dress code for the EDTNA/ERCA conference is business casual. However, it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket or sweater as the temperature in the conference rooms can vary.

  • Will there be translation services available for non-English speakers?

There will be no translation services available for non-English speakers.

    at the EDTNA/ERCA Conference?

Please expect to be communicated by the 7.7.2023.

  • Can my work be displayed during the conference as an e-poster
    without my personal presence?

Yes it can, as long as the author is registered and the registration is paid.

  • How do I know the final allocation of my presentation or when a particular presentation
    will be presented?
