PATIENT EDUCATION INFORMATION
The EDTNA/ERCA Multilingual Patient Education Documents Project is sponsored by B. Braun Avitum AG. The aim is to provide the best standard of care to patients with CKD, and their families, from diverse cultural backgrounds. They are useful not only for nurses faced with language barrier but also helpful for new renal nurses to use as reference for CKD patient education.

This project is coordinated by Simone Klein (Germany) and Tai Mooi Ho Wong (Spain). These documents produced by EDTNA/ERCA answer important questions which are useful for patients with CKD and cover 14 topics (About Your Kidneys, High Blood Pressure, Home Blood Pressure Monitoring, Diabetes Mellitus, Healthy Lifestyle, Physical Exercise, Stop Smoking, Low-salt Diet, Common Medicines used in CKD, Reactions Following Diagnosis, Pre-dialysis, Haemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis and Kidney Transplant).

The 14 topics are available in English, Arabic, Chinese, Czech, French, German, Hindi, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak and Spanish.
