Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

It is with immense pleasure and anticipation that I extend my warmest welcome to each and every one of you to the 52nd International Congress of the European Dialysis and Transplant Nurses Association/European Renal Care Association (EDTNA/ERCA). The next edition of our prestigious congress is set to take place in the vibrant and historic city of Athens in 2024.

Our annual congress has always been a remarkable platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and innovative ideas within the fields of nephrology, renal replacement treatments, and transplantation. As we gather in Athens, a city that beautifully juxtaposes the rich tapestry of its ancient heritage with a modern and dynamic backdrop, we are presented with a unique opportunity to explore the intersections of tradition and innovation in renal care.

The Conference promises to be a pivotal moment in our community's ongoing quest for excellence in patient care. Our carefully curated program will feature an array of engaging sessions, keynote lectures, workshops, and symposia that address the latest advancements, best practices, and emerging trends in the field. Renowned experts and leading practitioners from around the world will come together to share their insights, fostering a dynamic environment for professional growth.

Beyond the scientific program, Athens offers a captivating blend of history, culture, and the warmth of Greek hospitality. Our social events and activities will provide the perfect backdrop to establish connections, exchange perspectives, and make lifelong friendships.

As the President of EDTNA/ERCA, I am excited about the possibilities that this congress holds for our community. The exchange of knowledge and the connections made during this event will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on our collective mission to improve the lives of those affected by renal disease.

I encourage you to save the date and make plans to join us in Athens from 21st to 24th September 2024. Together, we will explore, learn, connect, and inspire each other to drive the advancement of nephrology and renal care.

Stay tuned for further details and updates, and do not hesitate to reach out to us with any inquiries. I look forward to welcoming you to Athens and to an unforgettable EDTNA/ERCA International Congress in 2024.

With warm regards,

Ilaria de Barbieri
EDTNA/ERCA President
